Please note: The Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) is in the process of aligning programs from the Department of Human Services (DHS), Education (MDE), Public Safety (DPS), and Health (MDH). During the transition, many of DCYF's web resources and documents remain available at the DHS webpages below.
In addition, many of the transitioning programs' statutes have been renumbered to be within DCYF Chapters 142A-G, effective upon the transfer or authority of the program to DCYF. Web searches for originally assigned statute numbers will produce results with the new statute number.
