Funding can be used to host, build or expand an early childhood preparation program and fund student stipends, tuition scholarships or student teaching/field placement.
Eligibility
Eligible programs must reside in Minnesota and serve participants/families primarily in Minnesota. Organizations eligible include:
- Minnesota-licensed family child care or licensed center-based child care programs
- School district or charter school early learning programs, including Early Childhood Special Education, Early Childhood Family Education, School Readiness and Voluntary Prekindergarten
- Head Start programs, including Tribal Head Start, Migrant Head Start and Early Head Start
- Institutions of higher education
- Community partnership nongovernmental organizations
