Modernization in the news

MNIT chooses Boomi to help improve benefit systems

MNIT has chosen Boomi’s Integration Platform to fill a gap in the state’s technology infrastructure. This new tool facilitates modern interfaces with the state’s mainframe systems. MNIT DCYF, the One Minnesota goal teams across DCYF and DHS, and other partners will work closely with Boomi as this project unfolds.

How DCYF modernized a key tool to support child welfare workers

Minnesota’s Time Entry Transformation project modernizes a critical child welfare tool by reducing friction in everyday documentation. Built in partnership with counties and frontline staff, the new web-based experience supports workers while laying the groundwork for future system modernization.

Building Better Tools for Our Work Together

The Department of Children, Families, and Youth (DCYF) is making updates to the Social Service Information System (SSIS) Time Entry and Contact/Activity tool. This system is an important tool that staff use to write case notes, track their time, and share important information.

Time Entry Transformation Web App Launch

Stearns County began piloting a new web-based time entry application on September 10, marking a major step forward in modernizing how workers log their hours. Designed to streamline time tracking and improve integration with existing tools, including the SSIS desktop platform and backend databases, the new system is already earning praise from early users.
