Working alongside communities, the Office of Restorative Practices (ORP) strengthens solutions that already exist to repair harm, rebuild trust, and help Minnesota's children, youth, and families thrive.

ORP advances the use of restorative practices across a range of partnerships with community partners and systems, including pretrial diversion programs, delinquency and criminal justice, child welfare, education, and community violence prevention.

The focus is on creating safe, supportive spaces where people feel heard, relationships are valued, and healing is possible. Working in partnership with schools, community programs, and system leaders we ensure restorative practices are made available and supported across Minnesota. 

Restorative Justice Provider Directory

DCYF's Office of Restorative Practices is responsible for maintaining an up-to-date list of restorative practitioners across the state, not just as a record, but to nurture connection and community. This list ensures practitioners, community members, and system partners can more easily find one another, share learning, and collaborate in ways that strengthen the reach and impact of restorative practices.

This effort is rooted in honoring the work of practitioners and supporting relationships that foster equity, healing, and accountability across Minnesota.
