Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) gives parents and caregivers of young children a space to connect with other local families. Classes offer fun activities that support your child’s learning while giving you a space to share ideas, ask questions and learn with other caregivers.

Eligibility

Eligibility

All Minnesota caregivers of children from birth to kindergarten enrollment. ECFE offers sliding scale fees according to income. No family is turned away if they cannot pay.

Where families learn, play and grow together

ECFE classes offer support tailored to your child’s age: 

  • Infants: Learn about how babies grow and how their brains develop. Get tips on keeping your baby safe and ideas for fun learning activities.
  • Toddlers: Get guidance on toddler behavior, routines and supporting your child’s growing independence.
  • Preschoolers: Explore ways to build your child’s confidence and skills and learn how to help them transition to kindergarten.
