Federal and state law require Minnesota's Child Support Division to review the state child support guidelines and produce a report of the results every four years. The review is performed by an internal group from the Child Support Division. The following staff roles and their responsibilities were included on the 2022 review group:
- One representative from the Policy and Planning Unit tasked with drafting, synthesizing, and finalizing the report.
- Three representatives from Performance Analytics and Systems Unit tasked with conducting the case data analysis.
- Two representatives from the Program Support Unit, two representatives from the Child Support Payment Center, two representatives from the Child Support Help Desk, and one member of the Child Support Training Unit tasked with completing the case sample review.
- One representative from the Communications Unit to help conduct the public input component of the report.
