If a child is in immediate danger, call 911. If the child is not in immediate danger, use the contact information below to report suspected maltreatment, abuse, or neglect related to a child care program or a foster care provider.
- Child care centers (licensed or certified): Call the DCYF Intake Unit at 651-539-8222.
- Family child care: Call the licensing agency in the county or Tribal Nation where the child lives.
- Child foster care: Call the child protection agency in the county or Tribal Nation where the child lives.
To make a report about a facility licensed by the Department of Human Services (DHS), call the DHS Intake Unit at 651-431-6600.
Vulnerable adults: If you know or suspect that a vulnerable adult is in immediate danger, call 911. Additionally, all reports of abuse, neglect, or exploitation of a vulnerable adult should be called in to the Minnesota Adult Abuse Reporting Center (MAARC) at 844-880-1574.
