The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Employment and Training (SNAP E&T) program helps SNAP recipients improve their employment opportunities by offering individualized career planning, short-term training for in-demand jobs, support with job searching, and financial assistance to overcome employment barriers.

SNAP E&T is offered at many local organizations, including community and technical colleges, community-based organizations, county agencies, Tribes, and CareerForce Centers. The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), formerly known as Food Stamps, helps Minnesotans with low incomes, including temporary low incomes, get the food they need for nutritious and well-balanced meals.
