Intro

The Office of Economic Opportunity administers anti-poverty programs through a network of Community Action Agencies, Tribal Nations, and non-profit organizations. The core areas include community action, food and nutrition, diaper distribution, and financial independence programs. Office of Economic Opportunity programs have a special emphasis on working together with community partners as a collective antipoverty effort in the communities they serve.
