Prepared Meals Funding

The Prepared Meals Food Relief Grant provides hunger relief to Minnesotans experiencing food insecurity and who have difficulty preparing meals due to limited mobility, disability, age, or limited resources to prepare their own meal. Grants fund meal programs that primarily target individuals between 18-60 years of age, and their dependents experiencing food insecurity. In 2024, the Minnesota Legislature awarded the Minnesota Office of Economic Opportunity a one-time appropriation to fund prepared meal grants.
