Minnesota Tribal Resources for Early Childhood Care (MNTRECC) provides technical assistance and support to Tribal child care programs throughout the state of Minnesota.

Child care professionals affiliated with one of the 11 federally recognized Tribal Nations in Minnesota, or those seeking to incorporate more Native American culture/language within their programing.

  • MNTRECC's goal is to enhance and strengthen the child care delivery system for Native American children and families in Minnesota.
  • MNTRECC is managed through the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe Early Childhood Development Program.
  • Services are provided in cooperation with the Child Care Aware Minnesota and Minnesota Tribal Child Care programs.
