After 122 days, any unused benefit amount expires and is expunged from the account. This means that on day 123, you will see a $0 balance in the account. Benefits cannot be replaced if lost, stolen or expired. Expunged benefits cannot be appealed. Please visit www.ebtedge.com or call ebtEDGE customer service at 888-997-2227 for your child’s specific benefit availability date.
If you receive more than one card for your child, do not use the additional benefits. Fill out a Help Form at sebthelp.state.mn.us or call the SUN Bucks Help line immediately to correct the error. If the additional benefits are from outside Minnesota, use only the benefits sent by the State or Indian Tribal Organization where your child completed their 2025-2026 school year. Under no circumstances may more than one benefit be used for an individual child. Families ARE required to pay back any additional benefits spent over $120 per child.
Need a replacement card?
If you have not received your child’s SUN Bucks card, you can request a replacement card from Edge.
Check that they are sending to the correct address. If needed, submit a change of address using the Help Form at sebthelp.state.mn.us. The card will arrive in a plain envelope addressed to the child. Make sure your child’s name is on your mailbox. The post office might not deliver if your child is not a known resident at the address.
